Auto insurance has become an area were people can save money, if you have been with a company for a long time make sure you call your agent and ask them if there is a new product out there. New products can be a new auto policy, or even a new homeowners insurance policy. Insurance companies constantly bring new products to the table but normally the agent does not tell the customer. Why? If the agent re-writes your policy his or her commission’s do go down. Most agents that I know want to save there customers money so they offer new products to lower your premiums. I have always tried to save my customers money or even offer them ideas to lower there premiums. If you are with a company that does not have agents you might want to try a company that does. You always want to talk to a person that knows you and that can offer ideas to lower your premiums. As an agent this is my strength to offer my clients area’s to lower there premiums and to make sure that we cover them accurately. If a company lets you pick your coverage’s just to save you money and you are not licensed in insurance you could putting your family at risk. Again as an agent I make sure to ask the questions to protect you and your family. Every family has different circumstances so always consult a licensed representative to get the information that pertains to your family.
